Thought you guys might find this interesting. I completed the trailer about a week ago and took it out camping on a 3 day camping trip.

Hi Tom,

Fantastic, thanks for sharing. If you're interested in showing off your trailer in person, I'd love to set up a Sunrider club meet at a park, restaurant, etc... to show off your amazing work.

For those who missed it, here is the posting of the build overview video.

If you guys would like to plan a meet up, Worth Takeaway in Mesa isn't too far away. They open at 8am on the weekends. Great coffee and food.

The brakes actually stop the trailer pretty well. Better than I expected. Acceleration seems fine too.
The limitation is actually the trailer. It's got a solid axle on pillow blocks. No suspension…so when I hit a manhole cover or small pothole at speed, the trailer will sometimes come off the ground an inch or two…so slower speeds are safer.

The weather was decent for camping cool and overcast…but it did rain a bit. No leaks on the trailer so I was relieved about that.
