Check that Average speed 199 km/h
ROFL emoticon ROFL emoticon ROFL emoticon

Trivia: the max RPM logged during that ride was 9001

PS this post is about the average speed not the max speed

You need a Kubler ring or a Forcemaster 3.

Most I've ever got out of my GTS300 is 135 kph, but I felt it could do more with a bit more straight level road. I have never hit the rev limiter, not since my 250.

Where are you travelling? Around Australia?

I'm actually happy with the top speed, just amused by the dashboard screwing up the average

A 4 day trip in North West Victoria.

have you compared that to GPS?

anyway the point of my post was the glitch on the dashboard for the Average speed (my original post revised to make this clearer)

Yes I did. The SIP is completely configurable and you can pretty much adjust the speedometer to match the GPS. It also records lap times and fastest lap if need it..

I was just confirming the 135Kmh of Mike...

If you look at my speedo, you can also see the RPM a bit out of order. It was actually around the 9000 RPM when I hit that speed...

9000 was also the limit i hit. Interesting (slightly) that the RPM limit is the same in HPE and previous GTS

Do you have any vario changes such different rollers etc?

I do have most of the Malossi's kits...

If I kept it original, my Quasar engine would be out of steam at around 8500 RPM, I believe.

Pretty much matches up with my own stats (GPS: 84mph), no idea about RPM at that speed. Frankly, that's quite fast enough for me, given wheel size/wheelbase/etc.
