Hi everyone. Happy December

I was doing my 2yr coolant change the other day. When I was draining the coolant I noticed a few suspicious things:
1. It seemed like not enough coolant drained out. Certainly not as much as I had filled it with 2yrs ago.
2. The coolant that did drain out had a bit of a hazy/milky look.

I feel like I should be concerned. Maybe I've got a milkshake and/or something else?

Any suggestions on what I could look for to see what the issue could be?

There aren't any drips on my garage floor.

Probably there's a radiator full of coolant. You can push it out by blowing compressed air to the expansion tank.

How often do you check the coolant level, and does it stay at the exact same level? Under normal conditions, you should never have to add coolant. If you do have to add, there is a leak somewhere, either internal (i.e. milkshake) or external (oil in coolant or coolant traces on engine or ground).

Milky oil and/or oil in coolant usually points to headgasket or other internal engine issue.
