Will this body kit work on my 2008 S150:

https://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/product/body-kit_MV675047

If it does it will save me a lot of time and $ sourcing these individually

fingers crossed.

Thanks!

yes, but you will get absolutely murdered on shipping.

get on the horn, send out some emails some dealers might have this stuff collecting dust and want to adios it. post some want ads, and troll eBay and maybe you'll turn something up.

good luck!

Mostly agree with G, but check out what shipping, taxes, etc...would be. Then look around and see if you can save any coin thru ebay and other sites. It may be worth the extra dollars to just get it from SIP.

I've been surprised by how reasonable shipping from SIP has been. Their price on the tires I bought (along with some other stuff) was entirely reasonable including shipping.

I had another thought - you can order thru some like Scooter Mercato as they order from SIP sometimes weekly and save some coin on shipping. You may also contact Scooterpartsco, who is on here as Motovista as he may be able to help out as well. Good luck.

Thanks. I contacted SIP with a discount question since I will be ordering a lot of parts ... they are looking into this as we speak.

For anything over ~$100 SIP can be good value, as you won't be paying any VAT or local US tax and the shipping won't come to as much as those would be. Plus the delivery can be very quick - just as quick as any standard shipping in the US, as the gear gets flown in to your nearest major hub within 24hrs or so.

I've used and sold a few of those kits over the years. They are from Taiwan. Very good paint quality. The only thing that bugs me about them is that they left out the little pieces that go under the floorboard in the back on both sides, and the horncover, and you still have to match the paint on the headset and front fender. If you've already got a bike in that exact color code, and those parts are good, it's an inexpensive way to make the bike nice. If you have to buy or paint them in the color you want, it's not a bad idea to price them out in a couple of different colors. You can use an LX or S fender, but if you switch out headsets, you will need a new headlight. I'm not sure off the top of my head if the S Speedo is the same shape as the LX one. So if it's a color that wasn't offered in the S, you end up either painting those parts, or going full LX. You may end up paying more for the parts that aren't there than you do for the kit itself. And check to make sure the bracket to mount the little piece that opens the glove compartment is on the S.

Just got my order from SIP and I got around 10% discount. Shipping for around 31 pounds worth of parts was around $100 (two separate shipments due to availability - $70 and $30). I always try to order locally but the volume of parts just made more sense with no tax...
