Modern Vespa

This coming Saturday morning - Rain, 18mph winds, dark.....but warm 61°F at 05:30 for my ride out & fully 2 hours before sunrise.



Really looking forward to it as I enjoy riding in the rain and the dark when I am out in the country. Very very few oncoming car lights out there to deal with at that hour of the day.

Very strange - we had this weather the same w/e exactly one year ago in 2020! I took the LIKE with its City Grips that morning. This time I'll be out with a different helmet and on the Liberty150i's Angels.

I'm ok with two (or fewer) "adverse" conditions: dark, wet, cold, wind, rain, snow, ice, unfamiliar roads, heavy traffic, long day (ie: lotsa miles), etc. But my least favorite is early. *yawn*

Same weather report for NEO but a little higher wind speed… Still hoping to sneak a ride in.

Be sure to watch out for deer. They are crazy this year.

Six to eight inches of snow coming in today in Frost Bite Falls Minnesota.

The scoots have been in the barn for over 50 days.

Tomorrow's forecast added more winds - and "thunder-storms". I'll be riding straight into the storm the earliest part....then it will be at my back coming home.

Did you get your ride in? Way, way too windy on the North Shore yesterday. It felt hard to keep my car upright, let alone a scooter.

The temp looks OK, the rain is not bad, but the humidity is what I don't miss about Ohio. Yikes! 35% is high in Colorado...makes it feel less cold too...and typically much lower at lower temps. You are a hearty soul!
