I am new to the forum and Vespa. I just purchased a new Sprint 150 in Thailand. It's great for getting around.

I have the tourismo package on order.

What do you plan to do with the scooter after those 6 months?
Sell it locally or ship it home?

I'll put the scooter in secure storage until next trip. I mentioned 6 months earlier but could be 8 months abroad. 4 months storage.

I would most likely never ship it home as I believe the shipping cost could not be justified,

I was in Bangkok a few times and Pattaya for a few days on business . Very interesting place.
A lot of retirees from Europe enjoying the good life on their pensions.
Weather is fantastic all through Thailand and people are friendly and welcoming. .
It is a fabulous place to get around on a scooter easier than in a car.

Thread bump. Since my last post I've add more accessories.

Front fender guard. Rear body guard. Rack above battery compartment. Cargo bar under handle bar.
Passengers foot rest extensions and last but not least a new seat.

Love Vespa!!!
