I love these MotoVespa CL150's and I love the patina of this one.

The rust on the tunnel section scares me though, and makes me worry about the rest of it. I'm not sure I have the skills to see this one through. Of course I've aksed for more pics...

Take a look at jho's Project 1974 Rally thread. He's fighting a similar battle right now.

If that looks like more than you want to bite off, then pass or buy it as a parts donor to a better frame. Either way, that's not going to be much patina left by the time you get finished, so get comfortable with the idea of fresh paint.

That would be a hard pass for me. Granted it's a bit interesting with it being a P with Rally forks and headset and no indicators, but the effort and money to restore/repair is not worth it IMHO

I like the idea of combining everything that can be saved with a new frame. It is cool to have the unique features of the Spanish bike. Probably means closing some front signal holes on the new frame.
