folks I have been hounded and hounded to bring the brackets back.

I called for a new pricing quote from the fab shop. there is going to be a price increase as metal prices are more than double what they were 2 years ago. I should have pricing later this afternoon. Also shipping costs are higher as well thru the post office. you can calculate that costs by using my zip code 37748 and the weight of 13 lbs. box size is 6x6x14

they will not have the hole for the footbrake as that can be done locally by you. for the fab shop to add that I would be into $1k for engineering and cad to make a change and not everyone needs that so then I would have to have 2 sets of orders of 16 each or 32 sets and that's a lotta cash upfront for me to lay out.

Looking forwards to the updated quote to see if the wife will let me spend yet more cash on bike accessories. Or failing the wife's initial approval, find a way to get it anyway.

Do you plan to make a bulk buy then first come first served with confirmed buyers? or order as many as there are committed buyers?

I'm on a 2016 Piaggio Mp3 500ie sport. I'm 5ft 5in and feel comfortable on the bike in its stock configuration on several 300+ mile rides. But then an Mp3 is the first and only bike I've ever owned so maybe I'm deprived and don't realize what I'm missing?

Is the bracket strong enough to just cut a notch for the foot pedal?

yes they are, when the first foot brakes came out for the EU only I sent a few sets over there and folks either cut the hole or had a shop cut it for them. some folks even did a footbrake delete as they wanted to just use the hand levers and get the foot brake out of the way.

Folks the quote came in and I am surprised that its not more considering costs of materials and labor has gone up so much the last couple years.

they came in at $235 a set plus shipping.

4-5 weeks lead time.

only 16 sets and they will not have a cut out for the footbrake. this can be done locally by yourself of a shop or you could do the footbrake delete and leave the floorboards as is.

I will be placing the order on the 28th on or about after they get back from vacation for Christmas.

well so far only 1 person has reached out from FB to get on the list.

it aint looking good folks to place an order as I need 12 folks to hard commit and hopefully with deposits as laying out $3k is pretty stout on my end up front.
