So I have a Stella 177 malossi
W/ Polini reeds and a sip road 2 exhaust

Worth it to get a 24/24 carb or just leave the 20/20.

Plans for the future include upgrading the stock crank to a mazzuchelli long stroke with the help of Swiss

Or do I just piss everyone off and go for the smart carb and be done with it

What do you mean by Polini reeds? Do you still have the standard LML setup with two reed petals, just replaced metal LML with whatever material Polini uses? If you do, everything I've read says it doesn't really help as two reeds flow as much or maybe less than a SI 20.

I had a 20/20 on my PX when I was running the MALOSSI 166 and I also put a 24/24 and a 26/26 and I could not tell the difference on acceleration or top speed. The larger diameter Venturi suppose to make a difference.

In my case my PX uses the rotary pad so I am limited by the opening of the carburator box and its gasket. If I remember correctly back in the day I enlarged the carburator box to be able to take advantage of the bigger carburator.

It is up to you, I don't want to mislead you, I know there are people that reported some improvements.
