Hey all,

I have a 65' lambretta li150. I had to drop the engine to change the carb and it was a major PITA to get everything back together and the engine back in. I did it though!

Hooked everything up and …. No spark. Great.

Not sure where I should start. I am pretty sure I hooked everything up the same as before but of course it took a LOT of struggle to get the engine back in so who knows what kind of wire I might have f-ed up.

Given what I've described, where's a good place to start to attempt to diagnose? I have a multimeter and sorta know how to use it.

Just a few thoughts...

Are you sure that you got all the connectors in the correct spot in that wire block?

Could the end of the spark plug wire been pulled free just a smidge from the CDI or the plug cap?

Did you reconnect the frame to engine ground wire on the flywheel cover?

I'd try a new spark plug first off.

I wrote down the order of wires in the block but looking at an old photo I see I got it wrong! Hopefully that's it!
