Anybody help me? I bought an 07 Aprilia Scarabeo 500 from Copart. Apparently there is a problem with the immobilizer. The lock light is on, the seat solenoid wont work and the scooter will not start or even turn over. Does anyone know how to bypass this? Thanks for the help

This has the potential to be a significant problem. Would suggest perusing the posts here:

I'm not sure if the Beo has the ecu in the throttle body or not, but if it does, the easiest way to get if right again is to send it with a C note to AF1racing. Or you can mess with the wires until something starts to smoke and smell like burning plastic.
I just got in a bunch of the chip key sets for Piaggio models, but I've been too lazy to put them on the site. If you don't have the big key with the chip in it, you are going to need one of those too. They will likely send you back a chip with the flashed cdi, and you need to put that chip in your red key, then program the Piaggio slave key.

We had the whole security system removed by a piaggio dealer,, so we wouldn't have that problem. About 300 dollars, uses an ordinary key now.

Is this a 500ie? I think the 2007 Beo 500 was the first model year of the "ie" or "Light" model. You can find a wiring diagram here on jimc's repository, labeled 2008 but still probably relevant:
https://manuals.wotmeworry.org.uk/Aprilia/Scarabeo%20250%20500/

It isn't colored, but the wire colors are labeled clearly using the ITALIAN abbreviations for the colors. There is an English explanation on the side.

Mine is the same, and I had additional keys cut at a locksmith from cheap blanks I bought on AliExpress. The key does not have any security/immobilizer functions, although I believe the remote, when activated, turns on an immobilizer.

The 2008 BV500 I got from a towaway yard had no keys at all. I had to have the ECU on the carburetor re-virginized. Since you have a key you should get the ECU done and also buy a red key and a chip for it. When it's all screwed in place you have to follow the instructions in the service manual very, very carefully.

I was able to get the seat open by reaching under the plastic on the left side, the coax cable is up high under there and if you pull down firmly on the cable the latch should open.
