I don't know if conduit would work. I think it'd be too soft.

Bending the sheet metal was pretty easy for my repair. I don't know if I could flatten out a piece of tubing like that, though.

I needed about 25cm to cover (10inch ish) that was doable. The bend was the difficult part but if you need a straight piece its an easy solution.

been a while, but finished!!!

first Vespa I did really from A to Z:

full engine rebuild with souped up pinasco parts,
did my own body work and welding,
and painted it myself!

engine is 2 port acma (kept the original engine intact), upgraded with:
160cc alu pinasco
pinasco carb
pinasco clutch
12V conversion
pinasco crankshaft
bolag primary gear with stronger springs
Big rear wheel with SIP spacer
