It tends to be men older than me (retired boomer) who reminisce about riding a Lambretta or Vespa, when they were young; or, questions similar to what maggiegirl mentioned.
I get a fair number of women asking me about mine. Since I often ride across several state lines I also get "you didn't ride that all the way here from .." Texas or Colorado and I fully expect to be getting same question now that I have Tennessee plates on them.

I get the usual battery of questions, but not very often.

Maybe I don't stop enough.

But riding with LM15 in British Columbia got a lot of attention, riding Florida tagged scooters 3000 miles from home.

There were gatherings at every stop.

Nice people up there.

Sadly, I have never been asked about my Vespa apart from friends and family whom I've told about it.

I am still waiting for the day! Hopefully it will come soon!

Seeing the Sagrada Familia Temple in the background brings back happy memories of a holiday in Barcelona , where the Temple has the most amazing architecture and is a definite must see if you are ever there , along with the other designs of Gaudi in the City .

so today I ran a back to back to back test.

rode the 59 series 1 to Starbucks-- not a bat of an eye
rode a black GTS to the same Starbucks-- calm down it's on my test ride loop and I was checking for a ride fault!
rode a GIANT piece of junk red S50 to the same Starbucks-- ALL the questions.

go figure.
