Revel has a fleet of pay-by-the-minute NIU motos in San Francisco and New York. They're nerfed to 30mph, which means they're probably permanently in Dynamic mode.

I've only ridden them twice (when I needed a ride to drop off/pick up my Vespa), but I'm not impressed. 30mph and mediocre acceleration isn't a good fit for city riding. Maybe it would be okay with the 45mph Sport mode described in the article.
