The Who will play their first concert in the Cincinnati area in over four decades, after 11 people died in a pre-concert stampede at Riverfront Stadium in 1979.

Many in SW Ohio remember that dark day.

It was a terrible day…. You have to appreciate the fact that Rodger Daltry took it open himself to meet with the family's and be be present for a memorial for those who were innocently killed…. The Who had nothing to do with the tragedy….They weren't informed until the concert was over
