Ok....day started off great, rode out about 5 miles and forgot something at home, (thank God) turned around, came to a light, and my '06 Lx150 stalls out-
Dosent want to start, even though it's turning over-

So I get home, do some online research, because if it's general engine problems I can fix it.

Well, ran across the "CODE" lights, and the 'blink meanings' on the transponder. Mines not blinking at ALL, and I havent found any info about a non blinking code light.

I called my local Vespa dealer who has a service department and I'm waiting for a call back.

In the meanwhile, just for the hell of it, I've got my battery on a charger, even though it seems to be charged just fine.

Any input on a non blinking code light? Maybe a transponder that died?

Did it blink before as part of a normal startup procedure and now doesn't?

Nope. Just dead. No light at all. Keys in, turned, nothing. Even tried the Master Key.

Shit...misread, sorry. Everything before today was normal. Normal blinking, all that. Normal when I left as well.

No, it's cranks over fine; lights come on. I DID take it out and currently have it charging, just in case. I'm sure it's either something very simple, or somethings ng drastically wrong. That's usually how it goes.

Best of the possibilities, glad it was simple.

Yes, it is ALWAYS best to start troubleshooting with the simplest and most obvious things first. I often have to force myself to do this.

Well, I'm from the old school of engines...none of this extra wiring, 'transponders'...anything past 1976..

The main reason I stopped dealing with Harley Davidsons. We used to pull parts out of the local salvage yard, put a bike together and GO. Nowadays you need a computer science degree change spark plugs.

Spark, Gas, and Air. Punch the throttle. GO!
