New guy here. I've enjoyed motorcycles most of my life, most recently on a '75 CB550 which I really enjoy. My wife points out Vespa's whenever we see them so for Christmas I found her a very low mileage '17 GTV. I was hesitant to buy a large, modern one, but after a lot of consideration this is the one she wanted. I had to join in on the fun, so I bought myself a BEAUTIFUL '66 Blue Badge Sprint, restored by MV member "Tierney". You never know who you are going to meet on FB, but turned out to be a very pleasurable trip to look at the bike the first time, and I have enjoyed meeting and getting to know Tierney. I feel 100% confident that this is a well done project, with no corners cut, and I am glad to be the next caretaker of this special machine. I'll start a separate thread to show a few small projects and ask any questions. Here's a picture of Sissy with the VLB, yeah, I have it in my kitchen!
Thanks to all of you who make MV such a great resource!

Very nice Original bluebadge. Congrats! I found mine in a barn and had it restored few years back. Previous owner decided to repaint and I kept.

Welcome Waxhaw! That's a great looking bike and Tierney is a solid builder, so it should serve you well for a long time to come.

I love my Sprint, but it's not nearly as clean as yours. And it's *definitely* not welcome inside the house.
