He went back to Jax, changed scooters and made it back to the Lodge at Wakulla Springs in time for the 4th quarter of the Super bowl in a hotel with no TV's. Watched on the internet in Spanish!
One hell of a ride for a free beer and Cheetos!

Poor Rocket decided to stop running on the way to Wakulla Springs.

Luckily Our friend Larry came to the rescue.

I got the stricken scooter home, swapped it out for the Xmax, then made a cold and dark three hour dash to the Lodge.

Made it just in time for dinner and the end of the game.

Worth it!

Rocket is a simple carbureted large frame that has made it on hundreds of big rides.

It has only done this a few times in it's long life.

It was inconvenient, but part of what life is all about.

But even Ken couldn't get the old scooter running again.

We were staying in the Wakulla Springs Lodge, a place with no TV's.

But they did have Wi-Fi, and Ken found the game on a Spanish language website.

We watched the fourth quarter, only understanding player's names.

But it turned out to be a good, if eventful, day.

Rocket is going to mechanic, Alex soon, with instructions to get it as perfect mechanically as possible.

Cost doesn't matter…..much.

My opinion thank the break down Gods you missed the halftime show.

This was a difficult year to stream the Superbowl free. The subreddit with all the links was closed down, and most of the sites online wanted you to buy or subscribe something.
After googling Brisbane postal codes, I was able to watch it on my new 7plus account, but the reception was grainy, with a surfeit of buffering and all the commercials were Australian, even when they were trying to sell Jeeps. Around halftime, Google questioned my ability to quickly circumnavigate the globe, so I duckduckgoed to find McDonalds addresses in London and logged into my new BBC iPlayer account. The stream was incredible. But the best part of watching the Superbowl on the BBC, for us Brits who live at McDonalds, was that there were no commercials. During the commercial breaks, they go to announcers trying to explain, yet again, what just happened. Check out the Superbowl on the BBC next year, as long as it's still free.
