Does anybody know the recommended jet up for the DR102 smallie kit? Im currently on a standard 75cc with standard 20mm carb, thats normally a 76 jet but im running a 78 as got a BGM touring pipe on it. Im thinking along the lines of 5 to 6 pts up over 78. Just buying the bits and pieces now and not sure what to order jet wise. Your advice appreciated. thank you.

SIP do a kit that has a range of sizes. Looking on their site I can only see the ones from 100 up but they used to do one with the smaller sizes.

Its probably better to have a range, put in something that you know is too big and then work down from there.

Its impossible to give you the definitive answer. For perspective, Ive got an 84 in a 19mm carb with a polini 112 with a polini snail.

Thanks matchless, I was thinking about 84. The bgm pipe suggests 2 to 4 over standard but it's bang on with 2 which puts me 78 so 84 should be about right , maybe bit rich to start as the dr isn't as powerful as your kit. Helpful info from you, really appreciated. Ps any idea on the running in mileage on these small kits? My dr177 was 400 miles, painful experience doing 40mph . Assume small kits half that mileage?

No worries Ferris, hopefully you get it relatively close quite quickly. Unless anyone has a top tip to share, taking the carb out to change the jet is a tank out job.
