I have recently been prescribed a drug (Eliquis, there is no available generic) that is ~US$100/month even with my insurance. I see that some online Canadian sources offer them for about $50/month. Anyone have suggestions for trusted online Canadian pharmacy to source them from?

Note: I've tried GoodRX.com. They are more expensive than my insurance.

Thanks!!
Miguel

LOL, been a lurker.

But now have more time to work on the stable of Wasps.

Tried the search function, but could not find what I thought I had seen, bluetooth speaker for GTS300.

Yeah, between it being the first post, the D- Better Business Bureau Rating, and the number of red flags on the website itself, that would be a hard pass from me.

OP - Unfortunately I don't have anything to suggest at the moment. I have two canadian pharmacies a block away from me so I just walk over. I've reached out to a fellow rider who works at a pharmacy to see if she has any advice/insight. I'll let you know if I/she/we can help or at least point you in the right direction.

ar15bang, Have you done business with them? What was you experience? Did the reduced pricing from them meet you expectations (the price looks to be about 1/2 the US price for my Rx)?

I have used https://www.mapleleafmeds.com/ for the past 5 years. For a ninety day supply of the medication I take would cost me almost $1000.00 on my old insurance but only cost me $100.00 with them. Now that I have decent insurance I don't need them but I would use them again in a heartbeat if I needed to.

Things to consider. You still need a prescription. At the time of your order they ask you to upload a copy and fill out a medical questionnaire. They also ask you to mail the hard copy to them but will start your order with the uploaded version.

They also need a cancelled check uploaded for each order.

It takes time. You'll want to order at least a month before but I always did two months because they source it from pharmacies in other countries and shipping takes time.

The medication I received was all original and made by the same company that supplies US customers though it may look a little different.

Let me know if you have other questions.

She said they run entirely offline so she has no suggestions, sorry Miguel. Looks like you've got a solid suggestion above though.

Thanks Sticky! A personal experience recommendation is exactly what I was looking for. +1

I looked at the site and the cost for the drug I'm looking for. It's ~50% the cost my insurance plan offers it at thru CVS, about a $50/month savings for me.

Cheers! Miguel

I never had a single problem with them. I hope your experience is the same.

Perhaps they are not a licensed to sell pharmaceuticals in Canada and there for block inquiries from Canadian ISPs. Don't know. Miguel
