Any help on his question would be appreciated.

If fitting a new set of piston rings on a GTS 300cc what size cylinder gasket would one fit?

A) 0.4mm. B) 0.6mm . C) 0.8mm.

Unless you have a tool to measure the distance, go with the 0.6mm

Watch the Rocket/ScooterWest engine rebuild on YouTube, and he states that 0.6mm is sufficient most all of the time. If you have the ability to measure, but all means do. But if you don't, and don't want to buy a tool for this one measurement, go with the 0.6mm
