Hi I am new to this forum so I am hoping someone can help. I have a 2015 MP3 300 with a starting problem. The battery is ok and when I turn the ignition on everything seems to be working, however when I push the start with the break leavers pull on nothing happens.
Not sure what the problem is, fuses seem fine but I have not replaced the starter relay.
Any ideas
Thanks

Have you tried the red kill switch? - Also, you say the battery is 'ok', but have you tested it with a multimeter?

Hi, the kill switch is on so that's ok. However I have not tested the battery with a multimeter. However it says on the scooter dash the battery is at 12.5 v. Not sure if that means it's ok though.
Thanks

It could be some wiring from the starter button, check the wiring, it may be the reason. I am not a mechanic, just a pure user. But sometimes this can be an issue, and I am sure someone would correct me if my idea is wrong.
Good luck.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried both brakes and the foot brake as well but no joy. The brake lights don't seem to be coming on so it maybe a relay or a fuse not sure though. Any ideas
Would be welcome
Thanks

If the brake lights won't come on then you won't be able to start! That circuit provides the power for the starter relay coil - a safety measure.

Best bet - a fuse has blown.
