Hi All, I have bought a 1983 Vespa Strada P150S, chassis # VBX1T... Somehow this Indonesian Vespa wound up in parts on the east coast of the USA. Anyway, I am looking for a headlamp and bezel complete to buy. I can only find these parts on an Indo. shopping page, which is not able to sell or ship to the USA. Anybody have a headlamp and bezel I can buy for this bike, or know where I could get one? See photos. Thanks in advance!

Have you tried EBay?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vespa-PX-PS-P150S-Square-HeadLight-Light-DGM-NOS-/115256316656?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0

Items like this pop up sometimes and being from India, eBay would be the first place I look. You'll need to search and start a search notification for the item. Or you can ask the seller if he knows of a bezel in India.
Safis may drop in and give you a source that may still have a bezel?
Have you looked on Facebook and joined the vespa p150s strada group and asked around that group?

Good luck!

That eBay link is a different one. He needs the one below. I found this one on eBay last year. They are a bitch to find so I'm keeping it on the shelf as a spare. The bezels can only be found in Indonesia so Ebeth is probably his best bet for both…

They are fairly common here in Thailand as well. If I can find one, I'll send a message.

I'm not sure what the reference to a bezel means. There really isn't one. The light just sits inside the housing screwed into a lower hole and some metal tabs inside. I do see that your housing has a hole drilled in the top. Mine doesn't have that. Maybe the so-called bezel is an aftermarket decorative piece or something.

Yes, bezel is just decorative. Ebeth had sent me a few 2 or 3 years ago. I had them chromed and gave two to fellow vespistis in the UK who had the same headset. I drilled the sides to mount it, my top cover is plastic and not the aluminum one…

On the plus, it'll hold the glass in case it gets separated from the headlight. My current headlight is made by SIEM (I had found it Italy). The spare one I got is plastic (made by Elma)…

That is quite interesting. I've never seen that chrome bezel. The top I had was the original Piaggio plastic one. A few years ago, the plastic around the screw inserts just fell apart. I then got an original Piaggio aluminum one from Ebeth that I had color matched and painted. It is much better than the plastic ones. I love the look of this headlight over the common round ones.
