I've got a new scooter to replace the LX! This is noteworthy because I've been riding the same scooter for about 12 years. The new one is a 2019 Primavera 150, I bought it from a guy who had only put 238 miles on it in 3 years (I posted about it here when I was checking it out and got some good advice). It was parked inside the whole time and seems brand new.

I'm a scooter and motorcycle guy so a 150 is ideal for me, hence the long and valiant service of the LX. The Primavera is just about the perfect thing for my needs, similar to the LX but just a tiny bit bigger and better. I use it to zip around town and park easily and change directions like a sparrow and to seamlessly split those lanes to the front of the line at every traffic signal thrown at me. I admire the bigger scooters, but since I can realistically only have two bikes at a time, I've settled nicely into the scooter/motorcycle lifestyle with both being essential and in a big traffic-clogged city, a smaller scooter is really great.

So far I've put a rack and my crusty old bag on the back and some shorty mirrors on the front. My only gripes are the reduced space in the pet carrier due to the bulge provided by the evap canister (the tool bag I use for work no longer fits under there) and the constant flashing of the abs light when stopped (what's the point of that?) And the fact that it's a little too pristine, but time has a way of taking care of that problem.

I like it. I like it a lot.

Nice! And congratulations!

Don't worry, "pristine" has a way of taking care of itself....

Congratulations those are really nice. Fuel injected Iget engine, reliable, efficient, responsive and low maintenance.

The ABS light flashing on my Liberty bothers me as well. I read that it flashes to let you know it is not engaged at slow speeds, and disappears automatically when you are going fast enough for it to engage? Kind of a reverse indicator? I don't like it but I don't like a light to come on when I'm in neutral on a shifty bike either, don't trust it or want it.

Beautiful scoot!

Thanks! Yeah, it flashes brighter than the turn signal indicator; I wish they could switch places. And the whole "Hey! Hey! Hey! ABS is not engaged! Flash! Flash! Flash!" concept, I mean, "Okay! Okay! Okay! You do realize we're not even moving…"

Maybe I'm missing something, but I have a motorcycle with ABS and it doesn't do that.

But it's a small matter, I still like it.

Congrats on your find. Is it worth opening up the headset and removing or putting a lower wattage bulb in there?

Great scooter, and yes that flashing light is annoying. My GTS has one but it goes off once you hit about 5kmh and stays off until you next start the engine.
Enjoy the new ride, I'm sure it will be great in LA.

Probably not, but if I'm ever in there, I'll take a look. Wouldn't mind switching the leads so that the ABS light became the turn signal light.

Now that's logical and nice. The constant flashing, not so much.
