"Engine is firing but no spark" - not sure what that means. You didn't mention battery but I take it that you checked that out. Given that the electronics appear to be dead, it could be the ECU. That is what controls the spark and the immobilizer on the GT.

Hello and welcome Teodor . Are you able to get your scooter to an auto electrician or motorcycle repair shop who could diagnose the fault ? Could save a lot of head scratching .

Robot has some great videos about how to do repairs. In this video he describes how the CDI box is problematic in these models check out the video starting at about 9:20 is where he talks about the CDI box.
You probably got a good deal on it not running and hopefully a new CDI box and you are on your way! Welcome to the forum. |

The GT200 will turn over with no spark even if the kill switch is ON (no-go position to be clear) IIRC. I suspect an immobiliser fault. Meself, I'd just buy a by-pass CDI and be done with it.

right off the bat, I'd double check your kill switch is operating properly. that's quick and easy to do. then, if the code light still fails to come on I'd start chasing down the electrics.
it may be as simple as a loose connection. there is shockingly few components in the GT ignition system, the FSM (workshop manual) has all of the information needed to test each one. |

When I bought my ET4 it had a damaged CDI where someone had tried to hotwire it . I bought a bypass CDI from ebay , cost £50 and works fine . The only drawback is that it bypasses the immobiliser and the engine rev. limiter , but I can live with that .

Obviously sitting looking at pictures and text on my laptop I can't guarantee that it will fix the problem , can you get your CDI unit checked before you go to the expense of buying a new one just in case it is not the problem .
