I assume it's a synthetic material? (Not real leather?)

Anything special besides just soap and water? Seems to be holding up just fine 10 years on with no special care and most of its life exposed outside.

Make sure it is good and clean with soap water and maybe a scrub brush and then apply the stuff in the link below. They sent a lot of stuff for a raffles for the Tampa Two Stroke Sleep Away Rally several years back and I have been using them ever since. I had a 250GTS with that same seat and this made it shiny black again. They also make a clear product that may help if it is one of the brown seats. Sorry I can't really tell from the picture.
