Modern Vespa

I'd like to replace my front tire because it is very old and not of highest quality with a Michelin City Grip 2, The rear was replaced about 1000 miles ago also with a City Grip 2, my question is should I put the new one on the front or move the rear to the front and put the new one on back? Thanks!

Put the new one on the front. Swapping tyres around isn't really a thing on motorcycles.

while the sizes are the same front and rear (120/70-12) the direction will be different so they'll need to be taken off and remounted thus negating any savings of labor or time. also, the front and rear wheels are different, so you can't just rotate them.

knock a new one on the front and call it done.
