Someone nearby is selling one for about half the price (new). I passed on it and picked up a relay that clicks.
It looks interesting, I wrote to them and they say it is compatible with the vespa.

I have not tried ST2's self cancelling turn system. I did buy and use another ST2 product which flashed brake lights when slowing and it worked great and was easy to install.
I use a flasher relay (not from ST2) which has a very loud beep and I cannot miss that my turn signals are on. Love it! |

I used to own a Honda Foresight FES 250 which had a self-cancelling indicator as standard . Great idea .

I tried their self-cancelling system several years ago. It worked very well, but occasionally missed when changing lanes or taking an off-ramp with a very gradual curve.
Then I found that I was looking down at my instruments all the time to see whether it had worked, instead of watching the road. So I discarded it. Another mod sitting in a box in my shed. I now have an Audicator turn signal beeper to remind me when I occasionally forget to cancel. Perhaps STS plus Audicator would be a good combination. |

I have one. It works most of the time, but sometimes cancels when I don't want it to, so I have connected a piezo to the turn signals anyway. It's useful enough that I don't take it off, but if I had it to do over again I would just use the piezo.

I use old school turn signals, those are Guaranteed to self cancel, never had them not to.

My Harley-Davidson has self-cancelling turn signals. Big deal, who cares? lol
I think it's a nice sales gimmick for cagers who want cager creature comforts on their thrice a month ride. While riding, I couldn't really tell you I'm turning off my turn signals any more than I could tell you I'm shifting gears. You don't think about it. It's second nature. It just gets done. If it isn't second nature yet, there's an easy fix for that: More riding. |

If it isn't then I don't want it. Then I would prefer to have the warning light to be located high on the instrumentpanel so that it is in your view when you drive. |
