I'll start it off:
I'd say we can play 20 questions but I'd hazard to say 5 will get you 10 here.

Rode the new Primavera to work, she's Trinket and there's a reason for that… and got to 'play' awful gopher, or more accurately offal go-for, so I made boxes, labeled boxes, washed metal carts, moved metal carts full of trim to area it goes to, wash carts again, make more boxes, pallet boxes, wash carts, make more boxes, run more carts full to area they go. And the high point was Leaving on my Vespa! And to the shop that does signs to discuss the planned 'girly up my scooter' and yes, I do want that to have Trinket worked into the design, yes, she's a nice gray but I want her to be very loudly My ride and yes, there I go wasting $$ on trinkets again… LOL so, not a bad Thursday but a LOT of exercise

Nothing really broke, but. . . 1986 PX150E comes in with terrible running conditions- will not rev out. After a few simple tests figured out it's the stator. Then upon close inspection, some person switched out the 7 wire stator for the earlier double yellow p200e stator. Who does that?! Even if it did run the electrical side would be Fukt.
Also: I think a farmer. |

Got hit in the face by a bird, half helmeted, -- four hours before a new ff helmet arrived. Tried to remove rear wheel. Two bolts just spun. Do I win? JB weld strikes again. Tacks are mine, to remove the first spinning nut.

The problem is you guys are using your new-fangled combinations wrenches and such. Why? Nothing on this earth you can't fix with a claw hammer.

I just gave up about ten minutes ago. The speedo cable was making a squealing sound, so I took the headlight and speedo out to lube up the inner cable. I get it all back together and now it's slipping at the base of the speedo. The fitting at the base of the speedo is worn out. Go figure, squealing is fixed, but now I have to fix the speedo… Tomorrow. Drink in hand.

Assuming it happened Thursday after I got back from running errands, I went out to the workshop this morning and discovered the GL had peed gasoline all over the floor.
Meh. |
