Yes. You should hear a 2 second hum from the fuel pump.

The 250s had a fuel pump recall. When they get hot, something inside binds and they stop running. It happens mostly in hot weather. If you stop and let it cool, they will start up again. Some people have said if you keep the fuel tank sorta full-ish, the gas will keep the pump cool since the fuel pump is in the gas tank. If you call a dealer, they can look up you VIN and see if the recall has been completed. The recall replaces the fuel pump.Tookd about 45 minutes at the deal for my 2009 GTV250.

Yes, replaced in 2018.
