Hi, I have a gtv 250 7500 miles and was planning on replacing sliders and belt. I have had the Dr. Pulley sliders (10g) for about a year uninstalled and just bought a Malossi Kevlar belt and after viewing a lot of posts I am worried that I may have made a mistake. I've seem posts that warn of the Malossi belt riding too high and causing damage... I am perfectly happy with the performance of the scoot stock. This is my first time changing these components and I don't want to hurt anything. Will I be ok doing these upgrades? I have seen some posts about adding a 1mm washer in the variator to make the belt ride lower.. of should I return parts and go back to stock parts?
Advice Please... Thanks in advance

you'll be fine on the belt, but those sliders seem bit light unless you're just looking for a jump off the line and riding in stop and go traffic.

when you're in there I'd check the oil pan gasket and trim off any excess just to sure though.

Dr Pulleys will be fine *if* you add that 1mm washer. This one works - add it against the bushing, with the original washer against the driving pulley:
