Tore apart the carb on my 2005 GT200 yesterday. The good news is she now runs again, the bad news is that I broke the plastic connection from one of the small coolant lines that take it back into the main coolant system. So if you follow the small coolant hose from the carb, the plastic nipple where you would connect it back to the main line broke off.

I've scoured the microfiche and can't seem to find the part. Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks in advance!

... and of course after searching last night, I find it five minutes after posting in the forum. Here is the part number for future reference. It's part of the thermostat housing.

Bad news, they break all the time.
Good news, they're $8.

Better news, you can replace it and eliminate the carb heater. Hook the bleed hose from the head to this.

That's music to my ears... I'll look for that bleed hose connection on the head. Suppose I could also just use the OEM thermostat cover and create a loop connecting the two nipples together?

Honestly, I don't understand the need for the carb heater in the first place?
