Tossed up on my purchase of the 2022 Sei giorni or the touring model. Any input would be helpful. Pros - Cons??

I got the touring model because I needed the rear rack and wanted the windscreen. Think about your needs and how you will be riding.

I believe the Sei Giorni still has the old, non LED, headlight and the improvement is quite significant with the LED type, so consider whether that will be an issue for your riding conditions.

For me biggest things to consider are things you cannot change, or would be added cost to do so on the Sei Giorni. -Set up for one rider. You would want to change the seat if you wanted to ride two up. The curvature of the seatback may also limit some gear carrying options. -The lower front light position. Vespa has offered this setup for ever. It's a personal preference. - The dash cluster configuration - Sporty bug screen is mostly cosmetic. - Do you always want to be #6? It is a beautiful machine, and I think Vespa did a great job with color blocking and building a scooter that many of us try to emulate with cosmetic changes. The GTS Touring will: - Provide a bit more flexibility for carrying gear or running errands due to the inclusion of the rear rack. - The windscreen offers more protection. - The handlebars are enclosed, which to some may be a more 'finished/refined' look. They are both amazing machines and you really cannot go wrong with either. If you have not done so already, test ride both of them and see which one speaks to you more. |

Love the look of the vintage Dash. I hear. there is an upgrade for a led headlight.
The black rims look awesome. One concern is I believe it lacks the ASR. And of course it will cost much more to add luggage rack. Maybe I should stick with touring |

I was in the same position as you. I went with the Sei Giorni. Scooter west offers a larger windshield, passenger seat, and very easy LED headlight replacement. I bought a back rack and top case, all easy to install yourself. The 6s can come off. I really liked the look of the Sei Giorni as being a little different than all the standard models. IMHO

My Vespa is my first moto. I wanted all of the safety everything, so I went with the GTS.
I like the looks of the GTV/Sei Giorni, but the lack of ABS is a deal breaker for me when a very similar model (GTS) includes it. The LED headlight is a must too if you will ever be out after dark. |

When I was at the dealership ready to make my purchase, I was torn between a GTS250 and a used GT60 that had about 300 miles on it.
The GT60 had been knocked over, was carrying a selvage title, but repaired by the dealer... or so the story goes. On that day, I loved everything about the GT too new to two-wheels to be phased by the selvage title. In the end I went with the GTS250 and was happy I did. It quickly became by primary transportation (killing my car battery that first year due to never driving). I would even get creative on trips to Home Depot and the grocery story that I could take the GTS over the car. When my wife and I were dating our weekends were full of 'Vespentures.' Over the years I've had fun swapping parts and removing things like the rear rack to get the more sporty look. I'd say at present it looks more like the Sei Giorni but at any point I can transform it back into a touring machine. |

If you haven't, I highly recommend you peruse ScooterWest or similar for accessories and build out each ride on paper. That will give you an idea of both what's available for each and what the "all-in" price tag will be.
For the front rack, if you're into that, the lower headlight doesn't limit the height of what you strap on. The GTS higher headlight does. The Sei Giorni's exposed handlebar gives you a little more options for attaching mounts (phone, GPS, camera, etc) where the GTS kinda limits you to mirror stems & mirror bolt adapters. Preference things that you don't realize until you get to that bridge. If it were me, it'd be close. I really would have to build it out with accessories (crash bars, racks, aesthetic choices, etc) and see how or if that changed my mind. |

When I bought my Touring last year, I falsely believed that I would need racks and bags for some reason. I ride my Vespa with the same amount of stuff I take with me for a car ride - wallet, phone, and keys.
The Touring chrome looks nice, but the Sei Giorni overall is perfect Vespa (to me). The headlight, gauges, and chrome handlebar is perfect vintage flair for a modern machine. |

My 2022 Sei Giorni did not have a stock LED headlight. I bought the replacement LED headlight from SW and did the very easy swap myself.

Lack of ASR (traction control) on a Sei Giorni would be a plus for me. I always turn it off on my GTS.

why not try them out and then decide.
That's what I did. I went to the dealer and tried them both. I sat on both. I found the gts more comfortable seating and I preferred the headlight up top, but that's personal taste. |

I would go with the touring.
Better lights which is important and also as i remember from my last ride with a giorni, the light was too down for me.I got the feeling of no good vision at night. Of course, both are beauties…with the touring being more practical in everyday ride |
