jimh hasn't checked in for some time, so I think the answer is no. You didn't say whether you still have a red key, if so you can do the programming yourself after someone cuts the key for you. If you only have a blue key - others sometimes mention a local locksmith with chipped key expertise, but the surest approach is one of the scooter shops with ECU and chipped key capability such as AF1 or ScooterWest. (all this presumes your LX actually has an immobilizer and uses chipped keys)
AF-1 is who I have used and would again if needed, which reminds me, I should order some blanks for a couple scooters and get back up keys made, I like extra keys and I have learned to label them so if needed, my son/heir will know what keys go with which ride.
Thanks for the reply
I only have a black key. That is all I got when I bought this scooter. How can I tell if my LX has an immobilizer. Could you tell me where AF-1 located.
