So first I thank you to the news group. The mp3 had to be towed on a flatbed and I used the references here to get the best attachments. The tow truck driver. Of course he never seen one of these things before and had no idea how to get it attached to the bed.

Not that bad of an accident that wasn't my fault. While parked at a stoplight, the car in front of me started backing up to make the entrance to an establishment and I was in the way. When he got out of the car. His first statement was "jeez the car didn't sense you".

My request for assistance is in helping to source a parts catalog and or service manual for a 2021 model MP3 500 in the United States. Do I have to work with a dealer to get either the above or purchase parts?

Since it is a 2021 model, the dealer is probably going to be your best source unless you can find a independent Piaggio specialist that knows the MP3 inside out.

That rules out 80% of the dealer network since most tend to focus only on the Vespa family and shy away from the MP3 or other products from the Piaggio Group such as Aprilia.

Depending on where you are physically located, you may want to hit up Vespa Motorsport in San Diego. They're one of the few dealers that can be trusted with a MP3, and they receive customer bikes from all over the West Coast so they must be doing something right.

You should be able to find what you need here:
https://manuals.wotmeworry.org.uk/Piaggio/Piaggio%20MP3/

It's a good idea to upload photos directly to the MV servers rather than using third parties like Google.

FAQ: How do I upload a photo?

I would like to take it apart and buy the parts. Where can I purchase them? But first I need a parts catalog to know which parts I need.

Easyparts.nl has the best prices and fast worldwide shipping on all generations MP3.

Their site includes factory parts diagrams to help finding what you need.

If you're gonna do the job yourself, keep track of what goes where. The MP3 contains a lot more bits and bobs than your average scoot.

NOTE: Since you were involved in a front end accident, albeit at low speed, have the alignment & front forks checked out by somebody who knows these bikes. The front forks are almost sacrificial in any front end impact and hidden damage is very common with the MP3

Thank you @sbaert that link looks like I should be able to find the parts for my model. I'm in the New York Metro area, Southwestern CT. I don't think any of the dealers have much experience with the repair of these. They just don't sell that many of them.

It will be a challenge to get this done on my own.

The nose on these are quite delicate. Doesn't take much of a bonk to put it out of whack. Check the forks but they're probably okay.

+1 on Easyparts.nl They have the stock and good diagrams. Mechanical parts can usually be sourced through scooterwest or a1racing but body parts are hit or miss.

Looking at the pics you're probably going to want a new front cowl (the big piece), the parts for the front grill assembly, and entirely possible you're going to want a new front cowl stay frame. It's just a simple ladder style frame under there that's easily bent out of shape.

Once you have the skin off you'll also want to inspect the radiator to make sure there isn't any damage there.

Parts-piaggio.com also has nice diagrams --> https://www.parts-piaggio.com/

@pmatulew radiator definitely shot or damaged. /Compressed. Do you know what color that is? Mat bronze or shady grey, it maybe on my original paperwork? I haven't looked yet.

Can't help on color. If you bought it new the paperwork should say somewhere. Also would expect a paint code sticker somewhere. Under the seat?

Back up and running. Purchased the part from the recommended Easyparts.nl. I am in the US and wanted to go domestic, but several parts were backordered at US sellers. $800 in parts and $300 for shipping, which was quick enough. I don't think they were original Piaggio, just because the plastic looked different, but I don't know. Thanks for the help.
