Hey,

I'm not very knowledgeable about these things, so hoping someone can assist.

I recently bought a T5 elestart and the start button didn't work. I looked up (google) and was suggested that I get this battery - YB9-B

When I opened the side cover, the battery model is - 12N9-3B

Is there any harm in me using the one that was listed on a few sites, or should I return it and get the exact same one that was in it?

Any help would be great!

Thanks,

Correct battery is YB9-B (+ on left). The one you have is wrong in terms that the terminals are the other way around. The 12N-3B equals to YB9-LB…

Both are same capacity (9Ah)…
