you were helpful with helping me find service and user manuals so i could figure out why headlights not working. i find this must have happened before as i found 1 missing bolt and when i could finally look at the sockets i see shrink tubing. one bulb had exploded and the socket was really corroded. other bulb socket is corroded also. auto parts guy says h1 bulbs too hot and are melting plastic bulb holder. i can see this is true. i found a conversion kit on amazon aux beam h1 led 60w 12000lmh1p145s led conversion kit. amazon says it fits my vehicle. will this fix my problem as the kit is? do i just cut off the old sockets and wire in the new units? i am a bit lost now. it said there was a user manual, but that was useless to me. i was hoping to see how the hell to install these.

when i scroll down the manufacturer part number is 88623792. please advise and thanks in advance

Check this thread on LED bulbs for headlights. The thread is for an MP3 500 but the basic procedure and products would be similar.

i had a hard time with the technical discussion on that thread, so i took a chance and ordered this kit from amazon
Auxbeam H1 Led Bulb Fanless, Z6 Series H1 LED Bulbs with EMC Anti-Interference, 300% Brightness 6500K Cool White, Replace for Halogen Bulb (Pack of 2)

truly was plug and play...i nipped off the fried connectors as close as i could and added the crimp on female connectors. wrapped the connectors with black tape so they were good and snug and protected from any possibility of shorting on anything and voila. when i plugged the unit into the wiring harness, i had instant very good high and low beams. the light is far superior to the halogen light. thanks for the info that got me to doing the converter kit.
