ok will i think im going to do some kind of mod if possible... im about to unhook rear blinkers and rewire those 2 wires to the built in side running lights to make them the blinker like euro style.. thus creating 2 HOT wires that will be isolated and cut.. now... add a 9v adapter with mount while key is on i should have a nice charging port any reason this would not work? it also removes any issue with dealing with a hot wire that has to be terminated and sealed off...

Your Vespa does not have a cigar lighter socket?

Yuck. Don't screw with your bike's default wiring just to charge your phone. Just put in a $1 add a circuit to the last fuse in the box, run in to a USB port/charger that you put in the kneepad for $12. The whole project is $13 and does not require modification of any circuit. And, as the previous poster mentioned, there is already a charging port in the glove box.

I don't know, but my 2014 GTS has the auxiliary alarm connector that people use to draw a feed to power a USB port/phone charger.
