I have a 1981 P200E 1102 miles and I want a bit more power. 100% stock looking for simple solutions. Exhaust and if so do I need new jets if so what size to go with what exhaust.

Thanks in advance and yes I am an old guy but I appreciate the help

I put a SIP Road 2 exhaust on mine. Upjetted the main from 118 to 125 and put in a drilled air filter (SIP sells them). No real increase in speed but a good amount more torque. Post in the Not So Modern section for any P questions.

Malossi 210 sport cylinder kit, one of the various flavors of sport boxes, and upjet carb. Must upgrade suspension and tires and you'll be good.

You could start with the exhaust and upjet and see how you like it. Then go from there. If that's enough, great. Going in steps isn't a bad idea. I have a 200 that I am getting ready to ride. I have never ridden one. It already has the exhaust and is upsetting accordingly. I'd like to ride it for awhile before doing anything else. If I go further, I have a baseline point of comparison.

What exhaust and jet size did you use, my main now is a 120

this really comes down to what type of riding you're doing and what your expectations are along with how much you're willing to spend.

you could go buck wild and drop some dough. or you could play it mellow yellow and just snap on an exhaust, upjet the carb maybe throw a touring flywheel at it, possibly a regear on the clutch and call it done.

but this loops back to expectations of performance, type of riding, and what you want to spend.
