I want to ad a side stand to my 2012 Stella 4T, without compromising my 2 legged center stand. I'd like the quick deploying side stand available for short term use, things like kicking it down quickly to retrieve a dropped glove, or to open the gate from the alley before I pull inside. As far as I know, my machine is factory stock, including the silencer. I'm handy and have all the tools needed to do most jobs, but I own no Stella or Vespa "special tools" yet.

I don't like yanking the bike onto the center stand with the engine running and doing so requires a bit more effort than I'd prefer to expend for very short term stabilization.

I want to continue to use my center stand for parking and service. I'd like a side stand that coexists with the center stand. I'm having a hard time understanding how the side stands mount, and I see quite a few designs available.

Do folks think that either of these, low cost stands from India, via Ebay will do the job?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/284638663947
https://www.ebay.com/itm/185411593138

Can anyone comment on how either of these stands attach to the bike?

Are there any other recommendations for an add-on side stand?

Not as cheap as those cheap ebay ones but people have been fitting these on bikes with the centerstand but you may need longer mounting bolts.

I think the Sip one is what's on my Stella. Not sure if the 4t version has any frame differences that would keep it from working.

I've had a couple of different side stands. I've gone with this one for two of my scooters. A 2t Stella and a P200.

The spring interferes slightly with the centerstand, but both work independently. I did do a little finessing on both units so they locked down a bit better and folded up a bit higher.

Which 4T Stella do you have? The 4-geared manual 150cc or the CVT 125cc?

Scooterworks has a side stand listed, but according to their model filters it only comes back for the 125cc. https://www.scooterworks.com/Sidestand-Black-Genuine-Stella-Automatic So there might be some differences between the two.

You could try playing with the filters on SIP to see if a standard Vespa stand fits those models. There are only a few different LML 4T model options.

I've purchased a few Vespa-related items from India on eBay myself, but FYI the consensus seems to be that body accessories (racks, crash bars, stands, etc...) are pretty badly constructed and finished.

Thanks for your helpful responses folks!

My machine is a 2012 Genuine Scooter Stella T4 with 4 speed manual twist shift. I believe it is a 150cc.

I did a search on the SIP site and it allowed me to filter for LML 125-200 4T, which yielded quite a few options. https://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/search/side%20stand?model=eyJzY29vdGVyVHlwZSI6IntcIm5hbWVcIjpcIkxNTCAxMjUtMjAwIDRUXCIsXCJzbHVnXCI6XCJUOVwifSIsInByb2R1Y2VyIjoie1wiZ3VpZFwiOlwiMDM5OWQ5YmYtZTZkZi00OWY1LWE4ZmYtZjQ2ZmFiNDI3Y2RmXCIsXCJpZFwiOjg1LFwicHJvZHVjZXJuYW1lXCI6XCJMTUxcIn0iLCJtb2RlbCI6IntcIm5hbWVcIjpcIlN0YXIgMTUwIDRUIC8gRGVsdXhlIDE1MCA0UyAvIFNwZWVkeSAvIFN0ZWxsYSAxNTAgY2NtIDRUIEFDXCIsXCJtb2RlbF9udW1iZXJcIjo3NTF9In0%3D&dim=2

Seems like none of these mention "LML" or "Stella" or "4T" in the description, but my understanding is that if it says it fits "PX 80-200", then it should fit my Stella 4T?

This SIP design, and also one by Cuppini, and the Prima stand from the Scooterworks link all appear like they piggybacks on the mounting for the existing two legged center stand? https://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/product/side-stand-sip-82_75085000?q=side%20stand I assume that 76 degrees leans over further than 82 degrees?

These alternative designs that mount to engine stud say "only conditionally fits English exhausts! Spare wheel doesn't fit !"
https://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/product/side-stand_75191000?q=side%20stand
https://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/product/side-stand-sip_75190000?q=side%20stand
Do these stands extend back into the space occupied by the spare tire when retracted?

I'm leaning towards the SIP 82 degree with the large underfloor bracket. This appears to be the same stand as SuperMercato is offering at the links Mattgyver provided. Might be better for me to buy from Norcross, GA than pay shipping from Germany.

Is there any reason to prefer the Cupplini or Prima? Less finagling required to fit?

Thanks again for your guidance!

Scooterworks is right here in Chicago. I contacted them and they responded that the Cuppini SSC1 is the correct sidestand to fit my 2012 Stella 4T

It kind of looks to me like if somebody photographed the Prima 0300-0108 that you linked to, from the opposite side, they'd be looking at this Cuppini, but I'm not going to test the theory.
