I've owned Lola (formerly Kristin's–@jimc) for 11 months and 5600 miles. And finally have had the chance to go scooter camping for a night. I think I balanced my load pretty well. Check out my video:

Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed your video.
How to turn familiar territory into an adventure…ride your Vespa there! I am new to the Vespa world. Hoping that they are reliable. I've been reading in the general discussion about new bikes not starting, fuel pump issues…and I'm hoping it's not the norm. So far I've enjoyed the rides I've had. Wishing you many more miles of fun. |

@centresmith thank you for posting your overnight camping video. I love the way you have combined stunning scenery with the gastronomic content of your ride, it makes it very watchable. Please will you do another one soon?

Centersmith,
Great Video. Very good ride story and excellent video technique. That was some amazing culinary for camping. We must refer to you as Chef Centersmith. When I camped years ago, it was Dinty Moore Beef Stew heated in the can over an open fire. Thanks for sharing. Bob Copeland Frost Bite Falls Minnesota ![]() |
