Hi everybody, new owner to a brand new Vespa Sprint 150 (2022) here in NYC, and two weeks into enjoying her, an Uber driver who was parallel parking backed into my Vespa and knocked her down. The Vespa is always covered, so after a careful examination, luckily, there was no serious damage other than scratches to the original top case.
I found this piece laying on the footboard, I have no idea where it belongs, would you happen to know what this is and where does this belong? My suspicion is that it belongs somewhere in the handlebars, the Vespa landed on its left side, so the left side mirror and rear brake lever took the hit. I heard the piece hit the floorboard once I stood the Vespa back up (while covered).
Any help would be massively appreciated. And from my recent experience. if you are living in a congested city like NYC where parking is a mess, keep your bike covered, Im sure the damage would have been worse if it was not covered.
Many thanks!
