We are sorry to announce – after nearly 18 years – we have decided to close CoolAss for good.

Sadly, the state of our economy, inflation, the rising cost of materials and supplies, manufacturing inconsistencies and huge price increases, along with increased shipping and ground transportation costs – all have made it impossible to continue providing a quality product at a reasonable price to riders worldwide.

For a short time, however, Genuine CoolAss covers will be available from two of our favorite dealers noted below. Only Medium and Large sizes remain, but you may buy from either with confidence.

Noooo! I use the CoolAss seat covers to keep the sun from fading my seat stitching from red to pink. I recently ordered a new CoolAss because my old one was just starting to get tatty.

I use shower caps for my bicycle seats. Waterproof (obviously) and cheap, so if one blows away or gets taken, people steal weird things, it's not a big deal. I also found shower caps in fun prints like zebra and cheetah! My bicycle looks sexy parked at the bike rack!

Anyways, thanks for 18 years of protecting my scooter seats. I did give you grief in the early years when you were still perfecting the layers but the CoolAss seat covers have only improved in quality during every engineering change. Good luck on your next adventure!

Yep - it's tough for us too - the most difficult thing being the finality of it and not being there for our customers. BUT -Scooterworks and Shopena have our remaining inventory of about 200 units (Large and Medium) - and should be able to fulfill most requests for the next couple of months.

All thanks to a guy I met quite by accident in Southern California that was an expert in commercial-grade reflective "films" technology.

Those two wheeled folks down South are going to have some hot behinds
without you. Here in Frost Bite Falls Minnesota, the seats are usually cold.
There are at least three months when I needed your find product.
