It came out of my Gilera GSA but since parts barely exist for this thing…:

I doubt this is the only bike Piaggio used this style petcock on so I'm hoping someone may be able to point me towards a replacement before I pull some farmer shit.

The part that fits into the tank is about 14.5 millimeters.

Looks like possibly an OMG brand petcock...? You may have to disassemble and mix and match parts, especially the long handle bit.

The press in part is the hangup, note that it isn't threaded. It pushes into a nipple on the tank and is cramped in. Same as a lot of modern Piaggio scooters but they use vacuum petcocks.

The Derbi Variant petcock looks like it could work and Dos has them in stock.

I was trying to figure out that bit that went into the tank… makes sense now. The Derbi one is longer than the Italjet version. Probably your best bet.

What's wrong with petcock in the picture? Is there a reason it can't be cleaned up rebuilt and used?

I've never had any luck trying to rebuild them in the past. Seems the rubber bit never fits quite right? Be worth a try though.

Then I'd have a weird hole in the body.
