So one of my original bulbs finally died so I need to replace it. Does the job involve taking apart the front or can I reach up inside and remove the modules and then replace them?

And will either of these options from Amazon Canada work as replacements?

On my 2009 sport (US name for Gilera Fuoco) I need to remove the windshield mount, and all the parts to get the front cowl off.

The bulb is H8 type on mine.

Thanks for the pics, looks like it shouldn't be that difficult. Hopefully the bulbs will be available for purchase in Canada somewhere.

you can just remove the side panel or reach you hand inside and change the bulb, no need to remove the whole front end plastics

that is awesome - much better than on my 2019 MP3 LT 500ie "Sport Business" - you have to take apart the entire front of the bike. Moreover the instructions in the booklet don't quite apply to the 2019 US model, it was a real pain...

please note that it is not must,
in fact you need to unscrew 5 screws, 3 screw has perfect access and the 2 screw bellow the headlight are clever, you can open/close them without any need for additional dismantle, however you will need flashlight and a long screwdriver, there is 2-3 mm spacious between the headlight and the frond cover, and with the flashlight you can light the screw and with the second hand you can direct the screwdriver reach the screw head.
it take some practice however it is match better than dismantle the front…

Like Old as Dirt said, I just reached up inside, twisted the light fixture out, replaced the bulb with another h8 and twisted it back in. Couldn't have been easier

Awesome - I went all LED because I don't want to do it again, bulb replacement is a painful exercise on every motorcycle I have ever owned in 25 years. I am gradually replacing everything with highly rated LEDs so I do it as unoften as possible...
