Anyone have anything to report on the Faco Twin Windscreen? Looks kind of cool.

There are a few threads on this but the twin screens does not work for me. The first time riding with it had so much buffeting, I thought I had a flat tire. Despite the adjustability, I was not able to get a setup that worked. Maybe if the rider is 5'9" and shorter?
The OEM tall screen works well and the design is easier for removal if you don't want the screen for summer. It's unfortunately a more complicated topic than I imagined. Give it a try if you are 5'9" or shorter. Go with the tall screen if you are 5'10" or taller.

Works well for me...its my summer screen. Just figured out that lowering it a bit actually decreased buffeting. I'm 6'7". Not sure I really need adjustable but it comes in handy for trailering, putting on a lift, etc.

Had one on my Gt 200. Liked it a lot. The adjustability is very good.

Works well for me, I bought another for my new GTS in 2020 after a good experience on an older GTS.

I really liked the Twin Screen on my GTS and will be getting another for my next GTS. I found it to be very sturdy and well made. It was so solid, I used the windshield bracket to mount my GPS.

I did modify mine by swapping the clear inner screen for a tinted piece from a Genuine Blur wind screen. It gave me a bit of extra height when needed and I liked the shape and color with the the tinted piece.

Tony - I also lost one of the adjustment knobs. You should be able to find a replacement at Grainger. You can take the remaining knob to a local hardware store to confirm size, thread count, and pitch in their fastener area - they should have sizing boards. Then go to link below and filter for the correct thread sizing.

I had one on my previous GTS for one season. I moved on to a different design for several reasons. One is that an individual rider does not need multiple adjustments IMO. A screen of the right height for your stature is what is really needed. Plus I found that the Twin Screen did not provide as much width and protection for the rider's hands and chest as I preferred. And I wasn't happy with the constructure of the Twin Screen. At more extended positions it was not very solid, and the adjustment knobs were prone to becoming loose. IF you aren't careful, one will go bouncing down the road sooner or later. With my current GTS, I use an OEM mid-height screen for Fall, Winter, and Spring riding which works out about right for my 5'9" height. In the summer, I tried no screen for a while but find that I prefer a Flyscreen for warm/hot weather riding.

BTW bdonley's photo above is interesting. It illustrates what I think is the most desirable height for a windscreen. You'll notice that he can just see over the top of the plastic, which also means that air flow is mostly deflected to the top of his helmet.
