On the 2019 mp3 350.
When I want to park my scooter for a short time, I always lock the steering wheel using the ignition key so that the seat button will become inactive.
It's very inconvenient with the tilt lock on and all, yet I don't want anyone opening my seat while I'm gone.
Is there any other way do disable the button?
Am I missing something?
Is it a proximity thing?
Thanks

Unplug the connector at the dashboard seems like the easiest and quickest solution.

But be aware then you only have the key as the sole way to open the seat so if the seat latch cable breaks or seizes . . . Houston, we have a problem.

The proximity of the key allows the seat button to work, even without the key being inserted or turned on
Once to walk away the seat button doesn't work

So you want to disable the seat lock button, but leave the bike itself unlocked?

"Does not compute" (tm)

Not so "uncomputed". Just the same way works any of the older models without those buttons, for example, such was mine 250'2006. Its seat opened only from a wireless key button, so I could leave it parked on a centerstand without anything locked. And it worked

A 350 doesn't have a key fob
try the red button and stearing lock
