Hi I have been lurking and thought I should introduce myself. I have purchased my first Vespa on the 3rd of may. I have been riding motorcycles since the 1970s. This is also my first fuel injected bike. [/img]

Just picked mine up yesterday, same colour, same model. I've been trying to wrestle with my conscience about owning 2 GTS's, I could never let my silver one go, but I find this new colour irresistible. Congrats on becoming a 'Member'.

Hi Alan. I'm in NJ too, East Brunswick. There is a Monmouth County Scooter Club (not exclusively vespa) that seems pretty active. They go for pizza Tuesdays to different places and have weekend rides. I'll find the name of the group for you. They are trying to get a club together at Indian of Monmouth in Neptune, there is a phone number on the website for anyone interested. I've been riding since I was a kid and pick up my first Vespa Tuesday. I'll be looking for some people to ride with. I also have a sport bike but all my friends have motorized sofas (Harleys) and I find myself riding alone. Hopefully the Vespa gets me out and about with some new friends.

I had to get rid of idiot stickers about wearing a helmet, not drinking alcohol and not drinking battery acid.


I added a top case. I think my GTS is perfect now! I only have to maintain her perfection.
