Do you think more people would ride small motorcycles and especially scooters if THEY KNEW HOW INCREDIBLY EASY THEY ARE TO RIDE???

Yes!
If I'd purchased my Vespa first, I never would have gotten my Moto Guzzi. The evidence is in the miles I've put on each since purchase. Anni broke 2,500 just yesterday on a 200+ mile scooter/motorcycle group ride (purchased 09/2017). Gigi has around 10,700, of which 7000 or so are mine (purchased 03/2018).
Yesterday, scooters & motorcycles played well together!

I think it's risky to think about riding a scooter as easier as any other powered two wheeler. Yes, there's no clutch or shifting on most, though at the end of the day the same laws of physics apply and falling off a scooter hurts exactly as much as falling off any other motorcycle.

A scooter is easy to operate, but traffic is still the real challenge.
Asphalt is very hard. |

I know I now understand it now.
I had a Land Rover 2000. Guzzled premium gas. I live in a major urban setting so one morning I woke up and bought my et4 and then a few months later bought a 1985 Honda Sabre. That was about a year ago and I only miss a car when it rains a lot . |

I learned this many years ago.
Scooters aren't only easy to ride, they are a blast to ride. I never tire of riding mine. I ride every day, and, on average, ride them 13,000 to 20,000 miles per year. Between my truck, Miata and wife's Subaru, I drive only around 5,000 miles. Any time, unless it is pouring rain outside, I will take a scooter. Bill |
