Hello everyone, I recently purchased a salvage 300 GTS and I have found a Mystery Ground wire. The end is raw wire that looks like it may have been pulled out of something it is on the left side fire wall of engine compartment. I took a picture of it placement. I have been searching around but have so far not had any luck. The bike runs and is not showing any faults. Any help would be appreciated

Can you trace back to see where the other end goes?

On my GTS it runs down to the engine on the lhs side and has a ring terminal fixing it to the transmission cover.
